Q. Where can I use Moo Balm?
A. Moo Balm is for topical use and can be applied anywhere your skin needs extra care. It's perfect for dry patches, rough areas, or anywhere you want a little extra hydration. The unscented version can even be used on your lips!
Q. How much Moo Balm should I apply?
A. Less is more with Moo Balm! Start with a small amount and see how your skin absorbs it. When you first apply it, your skin will quickly absorb the tallow’s nourishing nutrients, leaving your skin soft and hydrated for hours. Using too much can leave your skin feeling greasy, so we recommend starting with a small amount and building up as needed.
Q. Why is Moo Balm so good for your skin?
A. Moo Balm is great for your skin because the tallow is fat-soluble, which means your skin absorbs it much more quickly than traditional moisturizers. Grass-fed beef tallow is rich in vitamins and nutrients, including the same fats and lipids naturally found in our skin. These lipids are responsible for maintaining moisture and supporting the free flow of liquids in and out of our skin cells. Because Moo Balm contains these natural lipids, it is believed to help repair and nourish skin on a cellular level, without suffocating it like mass-produced moisturizers.

A. Grass-fed beef tallow is rich in the nutrients that make Moo Balm so beneficial for your skin. Just like we are what we eat, our skin absorbs what we put on it. Grain-fed beef may not have the same nutritional profile as grass-fed beef, which means it lacks some of the vitamins and minerals that come from a natural, grass-based diet. We source all of our beef tallow from Flying B Bar Ranch, which raises 100% grass-fed, grass-finished beef. Their cattle are also free from antibiotics and steroids, ensuring the highest quality, nutrient-rich tallow for your skin.
